About the Author
THERESA SCHWEGEL was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. A graduate of Loyola University, she received an MFA in screenwriting at Chapman University in California. Her first novel, Officer Down, won the Edgar Award for Best First Novel and was short-listed for the Anthony Award. In 2008, she received the 21st Century Award from the Chicago Public Library Foundation. After ten years in Los Angeles, she has returned to Chicago.
