Synopsis
Helen Renault discovers freedom for the first time in her life. Her perfectionist Navy Seal husband has been missing for a year and is now presumed dead. While she grieves over his death, she is surprised by her newfound clarity--she doesn't need him to survive, and she and her daughter, Mallory, are fine without him. Then she learns that Gabe has been found but has no memory of their life together, or of her. Under Helen's care, he begins to heal from his physical and mental trauma. With his memories returning, others will do anything in their power to make sure he stays silent--even if it means his death, as well as Helen's and Mallory's.
