Self-deprecating and funny. And they remind us that all we can do is laugh it off when Mr. Right is actually Mr. Wrong. This book is like happy hour with your girlfriend—gossip, laughs, and great stories about guys." -Maria Menounos, actress, journalist, and TV host
"I once said that if you could put Karina and Lindsay together you would have the perfect woman. Well, together they've written the perfect book. It's hilarious, light-hearted, and delivers an insightful glimpse into the minds of how women feel about guys and dating. It's refreshing to see these two having a chuckle about men while making fun of themselves in the process. If you want a feel-good read, these two have written it." -Ralph Macchio, actor
"Karina and Lindsay have brilliantly chronicled their dating escapades and disasters. It's perfect 'toilet reading'. Dancing with the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff shouldn't have a difficult time finding Mr. Right. She's a traffic-stopping, gorgeous international celebrity who bumps elbows with Hollywood A-listers, business and media moguls, professional athletes, and even sometimes your average cute boy next door. She and her striking (and similar-looking) manager and bestie, Lindsay Rielly, both enjoy vibrant and enviable careers. The two travel often and attend fabulous parties, encountering some amazing people along the way. Still, neither of them has made it down the aisle, despite their unwavering optimism, unrelenting effort, and wacky sense of humor. After years of scratching their heads wondering what they were doing wrong, they had an epiphany. Hundreds of dates and several unfinished engagements later, the pair finally realized: It's not us. It's them (at least some of the time ).
If these two can't laugh at life as single women, who can?
In this amusing, empowering, light-hearted book, the BFFs chronicle some of the zaniest dates they've been on--the ones single women everywhere can relate to. Case in point: Karina dated a guy who forgot his wallet three nights in a row Who hasn't dated The Clinger-On, The Tight Wad, The Jealous Tyrant, The Cheater, and The Wanna-Be-Straight Guy, right? These women certainly have. Now, along with quips and comments from other celebs and other girlfriends, Karina and Lindsay's most outlandish stories, favorite pickup lines, and craziest dating moments (and some endearing ones too) are chronicled in the pages of We're Just Not That Into You.
