Her Homegrown Christmas Wish by Rachelle Paige Campbell is a sweet story. I thought Her Homegrown Christmas Wish was easy to read. I liked the characters, especially Hannah’s cute daughter, Olivia. I felt for Hannah and her family. They were going through a rough time. There were several changes happening at once for their family. Daniel coming to town could be good or it could be bad. I like the attitude of Hannah’s brother. He needs to work on his housekeeping skills, but he is ambitious when it comes to the bakery. I like how the Beacon family are there for each other. I did feel that the reason for Hannah and Daniel’s break up to be weak. Faith is beautifully woven into the story. I like that there was a Bible study group for men. Daniel and Hannah need to figure out where their relationship went wrong. They will need to have honest communication and learn to trust each other again. It helps to have supportive family members and friends. I enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere which includes Olivia getting ready for the play, chopping down the family Christmas tree, buying presents, baking, and snow. Let us not forget Olivia’s special Christmas wish. Her Homegrown Christmas Wish is a charming, wholesome, feel-good holiday story with love, family, faith, and humor.
