About the Author
James McClure was born in Johannesburg in 1939 and educated in South Africa. He moved to England in 1965, settling in Oxford, temporarily leaving a career in journalism to write full time. He published eight wildly successful books in the Afrikaner Lieutenant Tromp Kramer and Zulu Detective Sergeant Mickey Zondi series. He died on June 17, 2006.
