About the Author
C.C. Lee is a Research Program Manager at the national Risk Management Research Laboratory of the U.S Environmental Protection Agency in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition, he is currently the Chairman of the Executive Steering Committee for the National Technical Workgroup on Mixed Waste Treatment. He initiated and served as the Chairman of the First and Second International COngress on Toxic Combustion Byproducts (ICTCB) in 1989 and 1991. The ICTCB has been holding its meetings every two years since its creation in 1989. Until recently, Dr. Lee was an Adjunct Professor with the University of Cincinnati in Ohio and was an Assistant Professor at the North Carolina State University before joining EPA in 1974. Shun Dar Lin is currently Senior Professinal Scientist at the Illinois State Water Survey, Peoria. A registered professional engineer, he has published many articles and reports on water and wastewater engineering. Dr. Lin brings to the book a background in teaching, research, and practical experience spanning over 40 years.
