About the Author
Stephen Brown is an experienced developer of multimedia language programs in a variety of languages. He is a senior physicist at the Applied Physics Laboratory of Johns Hopkins University and a registered nurse.
Ceil Lucas is a sociolinguist and professor of linguistics at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC, where she has also been a teacher of Italian since 1973. She is the coordinator for the An Gaeilge Bheo/Speaking Irish materials published by McGraw-Hill.
