About the Author
Tom Russ (Waldorf, MD) is a registered landscape architect and environmental manager who is currently Senior Associate and Director of Environmental Planning and Development at Purdum and Jeschke in Baltimore. He is also on the environmental technologies faculty at Charles County and Catonville Community Colleges and a continuing-education coursegiver for the American Society of Landscape Architects and the National Association of Environmental Professionals. His articles have been widely published in professional journals, and he is a member of ASLA, the American Planning Association, the Soil and Water Conservation Society, NAEP, the Society of Environmental Management and Technology, and The American Society for Testing and Materials.
