About the Author
CYNTHIA RYLANT is the acclaimed author of many well-loved books for young people, including the Mr. Putter & Tabby series, the novel Missing May, which received the Newbery Medal, and the Little Whistle series. She lives on an island in Puget Sound, Washington.
TIM BOWERS is the illustrator of the first two books in the Little Whistle series, Little Whistle and Little Whistle's Dinner Party. As well, he has been a professional illustrator of textbooks, magazines, greeting cards, and many other novelty items for more than twenty years. He lives in Granville, Ohio.
