It also includes an extensive literature section with useful forms, addresses of organizations, publishers, lists of books of special interest, and much more. Visuals are used throughout the book along with tables for summary, and the details provided in figure captions augment the text by paraphrasing the concept being demonstrated. Interesting materials about early contributors to the fields of anatomy, ear disease, acoustics, audiology, etc., have been placed in footnotes for learning that does not interrupt the flow of the text.
