About the Author
Rick DesRochers is a director, teacher, and theatre producer. Currently, he is the artistic director of the New Theatre, Inc., of Boston, which focuses on producing and developing new plays by playwrights of diverse ethnic backgrounds. DesRochers has directed and produced plays in theatres nationwide, and has taught acting and directing at the Commonwealth School, the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, and the New Theatre Conservatory Actor Training Program. He is also the editor of two books on acting technique: Class Acts and Sudden Theatre!
