About the Author
David L. Harrison has written more than 45 books of poetry and stories for young children. He regularly presents poetry and story-writing workshops at schools, conferences, and symposiums, and he is involved in ongoing literacy work in his home state of Missouri. He co-authored Easy Poetry Lessons That Dazzle and Delight (Scholastic 1999).
Kathy Holderith is a master teacher in Littleton, Colorado. This is her first book for Scholastic.
