About the Author
PATRICK A. GAUGHAN is President of Economatrix Research Associates, Inc. He is also Professor of Economics and Finance at the College of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Dr. Gaughan has authored several books and articles in the field of mergers and acquisitions and other areas of finance and economics. He is actively engaged in the practice of business valuations for mergers and acquisitions, as well as other related applications. He has been teaching mergers and acquisitions on the graduate level for many years, and is a consultant to a number of Fortune 500 companies.
