Step Up! 1 uses Bloom' s taxonomy of stepped learning objectives to guide high-beginning to low-intermediate students through the logical processing of oral information. From applying new vocabulary and concepts to analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating knowledge, the text focuses on the critical thinking, listening, and speaking skills necessary to succeed in college.
