Synopsis
James is a lucky boy. He has Mommy and Daddy and Grandma and Auntie who all love him. He also has a best friend, Angela. James lives in the city, near enough to a fairground to ride there in a yellow car. At the fair he pets a green snake and eats corn on the cob. James is near a bus line, too. An express! What do you think James likes best? The question crops up in each of the four stories, pictured in charming detail, about a well-loved little boy's day trips. There are plenty of potential favorites just right for participation by other boys and girls of James's lucky age. So, is it the green snake? The express bus? The corn on the cob? Or is it the windshield wipers of the yellow car?
