"We are often skeptical (and rightly so) about success stories; they can be a little too good to be true. But when confronted with Mary Higgins Clark's resilience, drive and determination, you will want to jump up from your chair and cheer her success." bookreporter.com
Review
"Clark's writing here has the same honest, breezy style that makes her books such fun to read." Carol Fitzgerald, Bookreporter.com

"...in a society awash with self-pity and a corrosive sense of victimization, Clark could teach us all something. In her easy-to-ingest style, Clark captures the world of her Bronx childhood. It is a sentimental portrait of family and neighbors gathered round the table telling stories." Deirdre Donahue, USA Today
