I've been a fan of Carol Drinkwater since I saw her in "All Creatures Great and Small". Her books just transport me to Southern France with her elegant writing. Before reading her books, all I knew is that I liked olives, but now I feel that I have learned so much about them and their place in our lives.
I'm about to finish "Return to the Olive Farm" and it's one of my favorites by Carol Drinkwater. It may be less romantic than the others, but it touches on issues that have to do with the very future of farming and what we are being fed. It's essence is about how hard change is and the courage it takes to fight for your convictions. A wonderful read.
