Synopsis
One of America's Founding Fathers, John Hancock became a leader of the American Revolution after unfair British taxation practices affected his Boston business. He became involved in local politics and was elected president of the Second Continental Congress. Hancock is known for his prominent signature on the Declaration of Independence, his nine terms as governor of Massachusetts, and his work drafting the Bill of Rights.
