About the Author
Trudi Braun's own geese, William and Dorothy, came to live with her when they were one-week-old goslings. They are now twelve years old and are great-grandparents. She has wanted to write a book ever since she was a little girl, but this is the first one she ever finished.
John Bendall-Brunello drew on childhood memories of visiting his great aunt to illustrate MY GOOSE BETSY. His great aunt kept a cow, a goat, four pigs, and a vast assortment of geese, ducks, chickens, and turkeys.
