About the Author
Marina Belozerskaya is the author of The Medici Giraffe and Other Tales of Exotic Animals and Power, which Publishers Weekly called a sumptuous readsmart, funny, and utterly compelling,” and Entertainment Weekly called a marvelous look at the ultimate in pet projects.” Born in the Soviet Union and raised in Moscow and then Boston, Belozerskaya trained as an art historian. She lives in Los Angeles.
