Review
We chose A que sí precisely because of its timeliness, its accessibility to students, and the contemporary themes it presents. It is creative, upbeat, and engaging. Grammar is integrated into the text, which is a feature we were looking for. The texts are accessible, the topics are well-chosen, and the organization is well thought out. The authors have intelligently linked the themes to songs, films, and web material which provides excellent supplement to the already rich text.
Review
Integration of films: 'My students enjoy this break from largely aural stimulus to a medium that includes rich visual cues as well. It breaks the learning routine and represents a kind of reality check on all of the culture the students have been assimilating. It also allows for a much wider range of native voices as they build competency in listening comprehension.'
