I would definitely read this book. The plot is very suspenseful and complicated. In the beginning it appears that Sally Roe has committed suicide, but she is actually alive and has killed her assassin. Sally is constantly running away from people who are trying to kill her, and she is trying to discover why. During this process she also faces issues of her past and begins to consider Christianity. At the same time there is a lawsuit against a Christian school for child abuse. Tom Harris has his children taken away and the ACFA is suing him for supposed abuse against a demon possessed student. Sally writes letters to Tom, trying to help him out. The theme of perseverance is very apparent in this book. Each of the main characters are going through hard times, but they stay close to their faith, and keep going, and trying to do what is right. Sally is running away from her killers and the demons constantly taunting her, but eventually through several interactions with Christians, and through the angels work, she becomes a Christian. All the stories seem very random at first, but they all connect and make sense in the end. This book is also interesting because it makes one think about what the outside realm and spiritual warfare is like.
