Synopses & Reviews
Written from the perspective of an 11-year-old boy just diagnosed with Asperger's, this book simply explains the disorder, offers reassurance, and gives practical suggestions for those with Asperger's. For example, the child explains how he used to play bug, because he really liked bugs, but his teacher told him that it was not appropriate to pretend to be a bug. It's appropriate to draw bugs. Once he did that, because his memory of detail is great, he was deemed clever by his science teacher and the other kids who through the bug pictures were pretty.
