The two disciples who walked with Jesus on the road to Emmaus heard the story of God’s redemption of humanity described in a way never heard before. How many of us have wished we, too, could have listened in on that seminar on a dusty road in Israel? Yet we have the same Old Testament stories Jesus told, as well as the New Testament. What we need is an experienced guide to lead us on a journey through the Bible.
