About the Author
John Jackman has been involved in dramatic and video production since the mid-seventies. He is vice president and director of production for Comenius Communication, Inc., an independent television production company based in the Winston-Salem, N.C. area. An ordained pastor in the Moravian Church, he also holds degrees in philosophy and divinity. John regularly contributes articles to DV Magazine and teaches workshops in lighting and digital video production for film schools, the American Film Institute, and the DV Expo.
