Three friends whose lives needed a jolt... An earthquake that struck without warning... A supernatural gifting of mysterious powers...
The Gifted is one of Terri Blackstock's most intriguing novels. A massive natural disaster leads to an even more earth-shaking supernatural transformation in the lives of three friends who have no idea why they've been spared or infused with these distinct gifts.
One thing is certain...the earthquake was just the warm-up for what lies ahead.
Synopsis
When an earthquake rocks through a quiet California town, buildings are ruined but lives are saved-radically saved. Bree Harris, Carl Dennis, and Andy Hendrix are rescued and emerge miraculously untouched-but they quickly discover life will never be the same. At the hospital, Bree can see visions of people's past wounds; sensing danger, Carl never makes it to the hospital and his instincts result in several more rescues; the minute Andy is pulled out he begins quoting scripture in a way that gives hope to everyone he encounters.
This intriguing story, from one of today's best-selling Christian fiction authors, has been repackaged for a new generation of readers. The jacketed hardcover format makes this novella the perfect companion to The Listener, Terri Blackstock's other newly repackaged novella from WestBow Press.
