Inspired by Pope Francis
Thank you God for loving me...thank you that you hear me when I pray. This creative form of prayer has been around for a long time, and is often credited, especially today, to Pope Francis when he was the Archbishop of Argentina. Regardless of its origins, it is a powerful way to teach our children to pray that the Holy Father has often utilized in his ministry.
Synopsis
With gentle rhyme, children ages 1-5 will delight
in learning how to pray by simply looking at their
fingers.
Counting with my fingers,
I learn how to pray.
Looking at each finger,
I know what to say.
My thumb is the closest,
So I pray for those closest to me,
Like Mom and Dad,
My whole family tree ...
