Synopsis
The main purpose of this book is to present the principles of regenerative sanitation, a novel holistic, integrated and systemic concept that embraces the dynamic complexities and contextual peculiarities of 'place and scale' in delivering sanitation solutions. It will show for the first time how the three sub-systems of sanitation (socio-ecological, resource recovery and technology) are inter-synergistically linked in a systemic whole to deliver comprehensive integrated sanitation solutions. It shall present up-to-date research findings and applicable cases on the six main sanitation dimensions: Psycho-socio-ecophilia (PSEP), resource recovery and reuse (RRR), existing improved design and technology (EIDT), restorative design and technology (RDT), nouveau design and technology (NDT) and governance.
