Synopsis
The first day in a new school is always tough, but for Dan its been a nightmare. Hes already had a run-in with Steve Fenton, the schools notorious bully. Steves not just a bully, though hes an anti-Semite, too. In his last school, it didnt matter that Dan was Jewish lots of his classmates were but here Lucy is his only friend. It looks like its going to be a long, long year. Then, in Miss Foxtons art class, Dan starts to model clay for a class presentation. He doesnt know what hes making, really a dab here, a knob there then suddenly a form takes shape: hes made a fierce clay giant. As he gazes in awe at his mysterious creation, hes suddenly zapped back in time to the 16th century, where he encounters the mystical Golem of Prague. As he helps the Golem right wrongs from the past, little does Dan realize that hes learning an important lesson in standing up for himself in the present.
Synopsis

In his last school it didn't matter in the least that Dan was Jewish - loads of his classmates were When Dan starts to shape a clay golem in art class one day, little does he suspect that this figure will change his life. That night the golem's chest begins to glow, and Dan is transported back in time to 18th Century Prague, where a giant clay golem is shaped from the river-mud. When the golem comes to life it shows Dan a way to be accepted, and to teach all bullies a lesson
