Liz Curtis Higgs, the author of the best-selling Parable series (
The Pumpkin Patch Parable, The Parable of the Lily, The Sunflower Parable, and
The Pine Tree Parable) has joined once again with artist Nancy Munger (illustrator of the Parable series) to create a story that will touch young children's hearts. The Parable series was awarded a 1998 Gold Medallion Award for children’s books. Liz is the author of numerous best-selling books, a busy conference speaker known for her gifts of humor and encouragement. She and her family live in Kentucky on Laughing Heart Farm.
A graduate of the Art Center College of Design, Nancy Munger has illustrated many modern children's classics, including The Toddlers' Activity Bible, The Children's NIV Bible, and The New Adventure Bible. She and her husband, Doug Anderson, are the parents of two children.They live together on a farm in Michigan.
