Synopsis
All over the world, millions of children need help. So many that sometimes it seems impossible for one person to make a difference. In this easy-to-navigate guide, child advocate Cheryl Saban steers readers to groups that aid children.
What makes this a guide with a difference is that Saban organizes these groups not only by what they do -- from providing medical care to mentoring at-risk kids -- but also by what they need volunteers to do. It's divided into small ways to help, like donating money to children's charities while shopping online; into medium ways, like collecting toys for homeless shelters; and into big ways, like creating a scholarship fund at a workplace.
No matter how much of their time, money, or talents readers can share, this book helps them to make a difference in a child's life!
