About the Author
Jonathan Friesen's first novel, Jerk, California, was the winner of the 2008 Schneider Family Book Award. Jonathan was a public school teacher for fourteen years and a writing instructor at the University of Minnesota before becoming a full-time author and writing coach for young adults. Jonathan lives in Mora, Minnesota.
