Synopses & Reviews
"Do you know what I
see outside in the rain?" "What?" Mrs.
Submarine asked.
"A wild coyote," Mr.
Submarine said.
"As I live and breathe,"
Mrs. Submarine said. "Is
it wet?"
"Oh, very wet," Mr.
Submarine said. "Do you
suppose it would like to
come in?"
The Submarines hadn't been expecting guests on this rainy morning. But, not the types to turn a wet animal -- or human -- away, what are they to do when a wandering wildebeest, a small European circus, and Ludwig van Beethoven show up on their doorstep? Why, invite them in for some tea and muffins, of course!
This picture book collaboration between Daniel and Jill Pinkwater will have fans rollicking with laughter -- and pounding at the Submarines' door to be let in.
