About the Author
Kermit the Frog is an international TV and movie star and a beloved entertainer-but he is also, a humanitarian, amphibitarian, an educator and, of course, the world's most famous pig-dater. During his first 50 years in show business, Kermit's career has taken him everywhere and given him the opportunity to work with many of the greatest stars of several generations. He has had two of the most successful and celebrated programs in television history (The Muppet Show and Sesame Street) and made more than a half-dozen movies (including his classic biopic The Muppet Movie). He has also had a successful career as a recording artist, with hits like It's Not That Easy Being Green and "Rainbow Connection". He has met the Queen of England, been the first-and only-frog to ever guest host The Tonight Show, appeared as a correspondent on Nightline, had his likeness immortalized in giant balloon form for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, served as Grand Marshall in the Tournament of Roses Parade, and been honored with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Kermit the Frog currently lives in a swamp, though he also has a pad in Hollywood, which he shares with pigs, bears and various other friends. He dedicates this book to Jim Henson, "who first held me up for the world to see, and to the lovers, the dreamersàand you."
