*Starred Review: "In a project that seamlessly blends elements of a picture book, comic, and novel, gifted newcomer Kuhlmann imagines that the world's first transatlantic flight was made not by Charles Lindbergh, but by an intrepid German mouse flying in the opposite direction...An exceptionally fine debut."- Publishers Weekly

"Kuhlmann created "Lindbergh" while attending university and demonstrates what a masterly illustrator he already is. The eye soars between aerial views and close-ups of old Hamburg in this beautifully rendered and well-thought-out picture book...a splendid debut."-Michael Hearn, The New York Times

2014 Foreword Reviews INDIEFAB Book of the Year Winner: "The sepia-toned images astonish as they deftly portray the world of this ambitious protagonist. The precision and minimalism of the narrative perfectly complement the artwork to weave an adventurous tale that provokes a sense of awe.
