Sing, Henrietta! Sing! Her poetry has been published in several literary journals. Ms. Downey lives with her husband and three sons in Hempstead, Maryland.
Karla Firehammer has been illustrating greeting cards for Hallmark for over ten years. She makes her children's book debut with The Flea's Sneeze. Ms. Firehammer lives in Lenexa, Kansas, with her dogs, cat, and an occasional flea.
