- The Vagina Monologues, Eve Ensler's Obie Award-winning play, has sold half a million copies worldwide. Ensler also received a Guggenheim Fellowship in Playwriting in 1999.
- Tenneson's photographs of celebrity "Warriors" are used in Ensler's massive V-Day ad campaign. Approximately 500 to 700 local events are scheduled in the US and internationally.
- A print and television campaign, featuring celebrities and activist subjects photographed by Joyce Tenneson articulating their vision of a world without violence, has run in nearly 20 national magazines, including Time, O, Marie Claire, Bazaar, Redbook, CosmoGirl!, and Good Housekeeping, and is still running in Esquire, Town & Country, and New Parent. The ads will continue to run through 2005.
