About the Author
Neil Gaiman was born on the tenth of November 1960 in Portchester, England, which makes him at the moment of writing this, 42 years old, a Scorpio, and English. His novel American Gods won the Hugo, the Nebula, and the Bram Stoker Award. His most recent book was the children's novel Coraline, an international bestseller, which has already won several awards. In 2002 he wrote and directed a short film called "A Short Film About John Bolton," and next week Dave McKean starts directing a feature film they conceived, and which Neil wrote, for the Jim Henson company, a partly-animated film called Mirror-Mask. He still lives in a big old house near Minneapolis.
