I'm just really grateful that a particular vampire book wasn't number one. Or in the top ten. Or, hey, not even in the top twenty!

What about the people/person that does endorse Brockman's ideas? Tit for tat, that's all I'm saying. I jest, of course.

Ha! I so didn't guess that to be the number one beach read - as chosen by NPR listeners or otherwise. Seriously? Did they get it mixed up with the "Weekly Reader" top 100? Oh, well, I didn't expect to find Tolstoy on the list either - though am *pleasantly* surprised by that, esp. in comparison to #1. But what do I know.
