I really like the entries so far, but I still can't quite get drawn into reading fiction on a computer screen. I keep wanting to print out the pages and read them on my lap instead -- but that seems like a violation of the online novel ethos. So I'll plug away on my screen.

Wow, that really is a crappy design for "The Unbinding." Luckily you can read a .pdf version... but I can't tell if it's the first part or the second. And frankly, I can't tell if I'm reading the second chapter or if some intern at Slate accidentally throw up a nonsensical email instead. Maybe this is too meta for me...
