It's interesting that some women are still saying that "women's rights to do what they want with their own bodies" includes the right to do what they want with the body of an new human being who is growing within them! That body is within them, but it is not them!

I'm still trying to figure out why the Supreme Court gets a presidential appointment pending congressional approval. Why shouldn't the justices be voted on by the public as other branches of government are? This waiting game of judges lingering 'til retirement (and waiting for a president of their party to be in office so their replacement can share their political leanings) is ridiculous and outmoded. How do we fix this?

First there was the venomous backlash to last week's blogger Leslie Bennetts, now we lose a part of Roe vs. Wade today. Should I start dressing like June Cleaver now?
