Ed, my typewriter challenges your computers to a duel. Yeah, both of 'em! Since we're on opposite coasts, they'll have to meet in the middle I dunno, Kansas or someplace? Let's just say Mars, so there's no home field advantage. THEN we'll see who's the tougher writer!

Nate: Name a bar, any bar. I challenge you to a drinking contest and, when I drink your sorry ass under the table, we'll see who the REAL sissy is! I happen to write for a living, which means that I kinda have to have a backup computer in case one computer goes down. The same way that a mechanic has a spare set of wrenches in case something happens. As for the spelling error, it's been fixed. Although I should observe that I spelled "dilettante" right, which I can now do correctly after several shots. That little trick took years. And Brockman, anytime, anywhere. You name it!

Yo, Brockman! Don't forget about the time you held Norman Mailer's head underwater until he called you "daddy," "uncle," "baby," and "sweetheart" all in the same sentence. That was freakin' manly.

when I clicked on the 'ed rants' link I saw
this was his first post
: 'Both computers are still down, but I should have at least one of them up by tomorrow.' HA! he's such a sissy he uses TWO computers!
