Hey now, Paranoid Park was an awesome movie, and it made Portland look even more beautiful and cool than it is.

You know, Brockman, I pictured you much more of a Ben Stiller/Jon Stewart/Alf combo..without the CGI legs (that is just wrong.) If they cannot appreciate you for your devastatingly good humor, do you really wanna suck their blood? Never mind, I think I know the answer to that... As for your aspirations of glowering like the man-girl, don't set yourself up for heartache...that boy is here to STAY (for at least 15 minutes.)

What a coinkydink, I was just reading the section on Illinois and thinking about Mr. Obama not half an hour ago (also thinking that I wished it were written by Richard Powers, but ah well, one can't have everything.) Great chapter by Joe Sacco on Oregon BTW. I hope P.E. Obama enjoys the book! He deserves some relaxation.

Denise, you have given me much to think about. Who will I choose for my army of lusty were-women? I will enjoy many long days and nights of contemplation... As for who will play me, I can only recommend the actor who most closely resembles me. Unfortunately, one actor alone cannot embody the awesomeness of "The Brockster," so the role will have to be played by Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, ALF, and the glowering man-girl from
. They will alternate scenes to keep it balanced.

"a supernatural thriller about a lit-blogger with vampiric powers and a stare that can melt hearts, who is pitted against an army of werewolf women whose lust only grows as the moon gets fuller..." I have spoken with Ms Meyers, she is AALLL over that one! As for the movie, this army of werewolf women...Angelina? Selma? But who will play YOU?
