"Don't pick this book up at night. This is a great leisurely, Sunday afternoon kind of book. Sit down and expect to stay seated for the four hours or so it takes you to race through this thriller. The crime is set in contemporary Lisbon, but the origins are in the pre-World War II black market in Portugal. Well-paced, well-written... I can't say enough good about this read."
