P.S. The interviewer (picture at top) looks like he was one of the overlanders himself! Keeping [Astoria] weird!

Really enjoyed the interview; feel like I almost read the book. Questions are astute and Donley follows up answers with relevant questions. One typo two questions up: "commuting" should be "communicating." Thank you for the back-story. Gm.

'so appreciate of your interview with Peter Stark! Wonderful to have history of Northwest that incorporates seldom-shared background and color.

Amazing interview. I grew up in Southwest Washington and took Northwest History in High School and as a college freshman and don't remember hearing anything about Astor's venture. Will have to get this book!
