I certainly enjoy the website, the book reviews, and NOW this new forum for readers to "Speak Out". This is a well designed website and as a NEW Subscriber myself I look forward to what's coming out during 2006! Thanks for your hard work! Terry C

I'm new to Powells.com - okay some of us just take a bit of time to get up to speed - well speaking of up to speed - I had to requistion every ounce of stamina to keep up with this very knowledgeable project - and I look forward to future editions with eagerness.

Thanks for the book recommendations...I've added them all to my list. And I can't wait to pick up the new Julian Barnes...this was the first I heard about it.

Inspiring. Informative. Motivating. A varietal grab bag of modern literary platinum platitude and genius. Most certian to make you feel like a pebble next to Mt. Everest. So go buy some more books from Powells and support this giant independent purveyor of books and be proud to be a pebble!

How could anyone not love 'A Left Hand Turn Around the World?' (I work in a library system--where the percentage of lefties has to be much higher than the otherwise norm.) So how about Powell's--many lefties there?

For the lover of books with not half enough time to read them, this is truly a great gift - spurring me on to read even faster so that I can read all those that I have missed. Toni Morrison, Ian Rankin and Mailer all combined in the one broadcast - what fun - but how depressing for me - so many books - so little time :)
