thanks for the correction of bloomington, IL.... i went to grad school in bloomington IN and have never been to Bloomington IL....

Joseph -- thanks very much for the correction. I feel a little bit like the easterners who think Powell's is in Seattle. (Same thing, right, Portland and Seattle?)

He actually sketches the 9/11 scene in Bloomington, ILLINOIS, not Indiana... I'm splitting hairs, but the piece is a great/accurate take on what it was like to be in Central IL that day (I happened to be staring bug-eyed at a dorm room TV in Urbana, myself), so I figured I'd register a correction.
