Children's
Friendship

Children's literature is full of great friendships. In fact, we can hardly think of a single kids' book that we love, for any age level, that doesn't include a best friend, from classics like Frog and Toad and Betsy, Tacey and Tib, to contemporary books like Adam Rex's The True Meaning of Smekday, where a girl becomes friends with an alien. Heck, probably the reason we love kids' books so much — then and now — is that we wish these storybook friends could be our friends!
