Stephen has worked at Powell's City of Books for 15 years; he was hired just at the same time as Powell's joined the "computer age." He's worked in many areas over the years but presently works on the History Team, his special area of knowledge being 19th and early 20th century European history. Outside of his work hours, Stephen is a fairly well-known artist here in Portland. His wife, an accomplished writer, also works at Powell's. Together, they perform a comedy musical act.
