for the 2008 SFU Scholarship Contest
Prize description:
One entry will be chosen from those submitted and will receive:
- One seat in the two-week Book Publishing Immersion Workshop: July 6-19, 2008.
- Roundtrip airfare to Vancouver, British Columbia, up to an amount of $1,000 CAD. Prize winner will purchase a round trip airline ticket and will be reimbursed up to $1,000 CAD upon submission of the airfare receipt to Simon Fraser University (SFU) and at the start of the workshop on July 6, 2008.
- Accommodation will be provided at the Ramada Downtown Vancouver, with check-in Sunday July 6, 2008, and check-out Sunday July 20, 2008. SFU will pay the room rate charges and taxes only for the period above. Any incidental charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
- Meals are not included in the prize.
Rules
Contest prize must be accepted as described. Prize winner must agree to terms and conditions of the contest. There is no cash value. No substitutions — if the winner is unable to accept the prize as awarded a second drawing will be made. No transfers. No reimbursements for cancellations made by the prize winner. Prize winner is responsible for any official documents that may be required to enter into and stay in Canada for the period of July 6 to July 20, 2008, inclusive.

Simon Fraser University is wholly responsible for selecting the scholarship winner
and managing all aspects of the SFU Book Publishing Immersion Workshop scholarship
contest.
